La I Feria de la Innovación, Videojuegos y Entretenimiento, enmarcada en Animacor, reúne a profesionales y aficionados al ocio digital.

Del 30 de octubre al 3 de noviembre, profesionales y amantes del mundo del ocio digital podrán conocer en las instalaciones de IFECO las últimas novedades del sector e intercambiar impresiones en la I Feria de la Innovación, Videojuegos y Entretenimiento Digital, FIVED’09, enmarcada en el V Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba, Animacor’09.

Con una estimación de más de 6.000 visitantes, este encuentro ofrecerá a los usuarios la posibilidad de probar y conocer múltiples juegos y lanzamientos en todas las plataformas, así como de participar en torneos oficiales de videojuegos o recibir formación.

Para el Presidente de la Diputación, Francisco Pulido, se trata de "una oferta pionera" y una "oportunidad de tener en cuenta nuevos sectores y propuestas que constituyen un instrumento de desarrollo económico desde la cultura".

Así lo ha indicado en conferencia de prensa el Director del Festival Animacor, Antonio Zurera, quien ha explicado que “el sector de la animación cada vez tiene menos que ver con los dibujos animados y más con el ocio y el entretenimiento, desde el punto de vista de la innovación, es un sector que contribuye a desarrollar nuevas herramientas para aplicar la tecnología digital”.

El Presidente del Consorcio Provincial de Desarrollo Económico, Esteban Morales, ha afirmado que “esta apuesta realizada en un marco económico como el actual, es muy importante ya que en épocas como la actual hay que abrir nuevos caminos y nuevos mercados”.

Finalmente, la Delegada Provincial de Innovación, Ciencia y Empresa de la Junta de Andalucía, Sol Calzado, ha explicado que “FIVED’09 contribuirá a la consolidación de las empresas del sector del ocio digital frente a las grandes multinacionales y será un punto de encuentro de profesionales de cara a futuras coproducciones”. De hecho, según Calzado, “en Andalucía hay más de 54.000 personas trabajan en empresas del mundo de la animación, un tejido productivo que, no obstante, está muy atomizado y demasiado dependiente de las grandes multinacionales, por lo que es necesario consolidarlo para que crezca”.

FIVED’09 contará con un Área de Contenido, en la que habrá una zona de PCs para la realización de talleres, torneos y juegos en red, y un espacio para consolas como PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP y Nintendo DS.

La feria se completará con un Área de Videogames, con videoconsolas de demostración de últimos lanzamientos, una zona de expositores, conectividad promocional de los servicios on line de las plataformas de juegos (Xbox LIVE, Home y WiiConnect 24) y la celebración de competiciones de FIFA09, Guitar Hero, Street Fighter IV o Forza Motorsport 2.

Completa estas dos áreas la zona de Gaming y Learning, donde se desarrollará la formación a través de videojuegos y los talleres y donde se ubicará el espacio promocional para las empresas participantes. Además, contará con un espacio con preinstalación para consolas en red.

La I Feria de la Innovación, Videojuegos y Entretenimiento Digital, FIVED’09, es una feria global, de ahí que participe un amplio espectro de profesionales como animadores, diseñadores gráficos, desarrolladores, programadores, puntos de venta, especialistas en simuladores, creadores de mundos virtuales, distribuidoras o directores de marketing y comunicación.

FIVED’09 es una iniciativa de la Diputación de Córdoba y el Consorcio Provincial de Desarrollo Económico que cuenta con el respaldo de la Consejería de Innovación, Ciencia y Empresa de la Junta de Andalucía.
